Our Experience

I’ve worked with a number of different online educational platforms and one thing that I always look for is ease of use.

Most of the time, if I’m using an online option for my kids it’s with the intention of taking some of the workload off of my shoulders. Therefore, I do not want to have to spend a lot of time learning how to use a platform or teaching my child how to use it.

Miacademy is very simple and intuitive to use. I found it easy to navigate between the different sections and find the information on I wanted.

I also really like that there’s a read-aloud option as this is important to our family for students who may not yet be very fluent readers.

Personally, we’re using this as a supplement to our homeschool curriculum. My son is the oldest child and I love that I could pick out courses just for him to do independently.

He really loves that it’s unique for him and that he’s able to do the work on his own.

He’s also a kid who will spend hours going on information rabbit trails. He studies things for fun. Miacademy allows him to do this in a way that is safe while also giving me a break from answering the endless questions!
