Having a list of homeschool Christmas activities for your family can be a really helpful way to make your days festive and full of memory-making activities.

You don’t have to go all out, be super extravagant, or even spend any money at all.

There are loads of free resources available to enrich your homeschool this Christmas season.

However, you can also go full Pinterest-mom if that’s what you want to do.

There’s no right or wrong way to do this.

They’re not listed in any order of importance and while most of them are for the entire family, there are a couple that are aimed more at one age group than another.

I’m not a baker but I do a lot of it once a year.

Christmas is the perfect time to pull out all the stops in this department because your house will be full of yummy snacks for everyone to enjoy.

It is the perfect activity for homeschoolers because it can involve the whole family and there is plenty of math involved.

If you have older children, this is even an activity that they can lead and help your younger children with.

Perfect for practicing those leadership skills.

There are SO MANY advent calendar ideas that you can make work for your family.

While I think we shouldn’t limit acts of service to just once a year, it is a great time to put even more focus on it.

Sit down with your children and make a list of the things you could do to bless others.

Once you’ve got your list you can make a plan for how you’re going to carry those things out.

#4 Open a Book a Day

This could be your advent calendar, or it can just be a fun things to do.

Wrap up a book per day for the lead up to Christmas and then snuggle with your kids and read it together.

If your budget doesn’t allow for this, or you don’t want to buy that many books and store them, you can just check out books from your library and do the same thing.

If you are buying them, there’s no rule to say they have to be Christmas books.

You could go with a winter theme, winter nature study, or holiday history.

This is the perfect time to get crafty or do some baking to share with others.

Your children can create their own gifts to share with Sunday school teachers, extracurricular teachers, and other important members of their community.

You can go with a conventional nativity or change things up by using lego.
